Although the immediate vicinity is largely residential, Wolverhampton, Dudley, and Birmingham are within easy reach and provide an abundance of leisure, sport and entertainment options.

The Meadows benefits from several parks nearby including Wedyll Wynd, and Cotwall End Local Nature Reserve, both of which are located within a few miles.
